Crestview has easy time against Wellsville, 82-46

NEW WATERFORD -- Brianne Phillis, Chelsea Bowker and Elyse Mongillo combined to score 62 points as the Crestview High girls posted a 82-46 victory over Wellsville Thursday in a Tri-County League game.
The Rebels (11-1, 5-1) jumped out to a 27-2 lead and the Tigers couldn't recover.
Phillips set a Crestview school record as she made six 3-point baskets to lead the Rebels with 22 points. Chelsea Bowker added 21 points and Elyse Mongillo had 19.
Jasmine Richardson sparked the Tigers (3-7, 3-3) with 23 points.
Lisbon 52,East Palestine 44
LISBON -- Lisbon jumped out to a 23-8 first quarter lead then held off East Palestine to post its 10th victory of the season.
The Blue Devils (10-1, 5-1 TCL) were led by Erica Sims with 19 points while Emily Smith added 16. Sims also had eight rebounds.
East Palestine fell to 2-5, 1-3 in the TCL.
Lakeview 56,Champion 51
cortland -- Lindsey Whetzel had 13 points, Alynn Martin 12, Jen Baker 11 and Joanna Novotny 10 for Lakeview (9-2, 6-0 Trumbull Athletic Conference).
Although both teams didn't shoot well from the foul line, Lakeview benefited with 14 of 27 free throws made to Champion's 1 of 7.
Champion had a 26-25 halftime lead until Lakeview outscored the Flashes in the third quarter, 21-12.
Martin had 12 of Lakeview's 34 rebounds in the first meeting between the teams this season.
Jaclyn Carpenter had a game-high 17 points for Champion (6-4, 4-2) while teammate Elizabeth Ghinda tallied 12.
Brookfield 42,Liberty 37
BROOKFIELD -- The Warriors (10-2, 5-1) handed the Leopards (10-2, 5-1) their first TAC loss.
Morgan Boneckovic sparked the Warriors with 18 points and she pulled down 14 rebounds. Kelly Jones chipped in with 13 points and she had three assists as did Rachel Gentile.
Katie Greaf led the Leopards with 12 points.
LaBrae 54,Newton Falls 48
NEWTON FALLS -- The Tigers led 16-15 at halftime, but the Vikings started pulling away with a 21-13 surge in the third quarter.
Julisa Elkins scored 16 points to spark the Vikings. Angelene Pugh and Peggy Nichals chipped in with 12 and 10, respectively.
Casee Piquet and Kortni Collins led the Tigers with 14 and 13 points.
Hubbard 44,Girard 23
HUBBARD -- The Eagles took a 29-13 lead into halftime and cruised the rest of the way.
Hubbard's balanced attack was keyed by Tressa Scahill with 10 points. Sarroya Townsend led the Indians with 12 points.
