WARREN -- Three men were sentenced to prison Thursday for robberies and a burglary in Hubbard and Warren.
Frank M. Hall III, 45, of 815 Ravine Drive, Youngstown, was sentenced to seven years in Lorain Correctional Institute for his plea agreement to aggravated robbery of a clerk at the Circle K store in Hubbard on Sept. 19.
Hubbard police officer Michael Pieton was watching the store at the time of the robbery and saw Hall running across the street and received information about the robbery on his police radio, said Chris Becker, assistant Trumbull County prosecutor.
A chase ensued, and Hall was arrested a short time later with $35 cash and five lighters he had stolen from the store. Hall had a loaded 12-gauge shotgun in his vehicle but did not use it during the robbery, Becker said.
