YOUNGSTOWN -- Discount coupons for the Harlem Globetrotters' Feb. 2 game at Chevrolet Centre are available at the local Junior Achievement office. The coupon knocks $4 off the price of any ticket, and for each ticket bought using the coupon, the local JA office will receive a $1 donation from the Globetrotters. The coupons are available to anyone. A maximum of eight tickets can be bought with each discount coupon. Tickets must be bought with the coupon at least 48 hours before the game.
In addition, everyone who buys a ticket through the JA/Globetrotters discount coupon promotion will be invited to attend the Globetrotters University. This event is generally offered to specific groups and not the general public. The Globetrotters University is a presentation at which players talk about the history of the team, give some real-life stories, hold a question and answer session, and invite audience members to participate in basketball skill handling demonstrations.
Discount coupons can be downloaded and printed from the Junior Achievement Web site, http://warren-youngstown.ja.org. Those who do not have Internet access can pick up coupons at Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley, 1920 Church Hill Road, Girard. Call (330) 539-5268 for more information.
Night of Irish Music
SHARON, Pa. -- The Sons of Erin Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians presents its annual Night of Irish Music at 7 p.m. Jan. 28, at the Sharon Elks Club, 260 East Connelly Blvd.
Dancers from the award-winning Burke School of Irish Dance will be featured, as will the best local and regional Irish musicians, singers and pipers. Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available.

History club for kids
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Historical Center, 151 W. Wood St., will hold its January Children's History Club from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. The program is titled "Earth, Ice, Hills and Valley." Young historians will visit a coal mine exhibit, observe the effects of a miniature glacier, create their own Ohio map with minerals, create a mobile with our state symbols and play Ohio Jeopardy. The History Club is for children ages 8 through 12. A snack will be provided. Advance registration is required. Please call (330) 743-5934. 'Boar's Head' ceremony
ORANGEVILLE -- Orangeville United Methodist Church will sponsor the third annual "Celebration for Epiphany: The Ceremony of the Boar's Head and the Yule Log" at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
