Purse-snatching suspects are arraigned in court

AUSTINTOWN -- Two suspects in a purse-snatching were arraigned in county court here Monday.
Eric Begley, 20, of Austintown, and Robert Carfolo Jr., 24, of Youngstown, are charged with complicity to robbery, which are felony charges.
Begley is also charged with possession of a dangerous drug, a misdemeanor. He remains in jail. His preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Carfolo is also charged with possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor. He is out of jail on bond. He is set to return to court for a pretrial Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.
Begley and Carfolo are charged in a purse-snatching Jan. 5 during which a 74-year-old woman was knocked to the ground in the parking lot of McDonald's on Raccoon Road.
