Christian band concert

HUBBARD -- Christylee Roose, director of Hubbard Youth Ministries, announced that Broken Yoke will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Hubbard High School auditorium.
The four-member band from Lima, Ohio, combines hard rock and Christian music, Roose said. One of Broken Yoke's hits, "Vapor," has been played on Christian Hit Radio.
Tickets for the Broken Yoke concert are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. They are available at Heaven on Earth Christian Bookstore, 8381 Market St., Boardman, or A New Beginning, 2232 Elm Road NE, Warren, or by calling the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene at (330) 534-3111.
Hubbard Youth Ministries is a nondenominational Christian group with more than 100 teen-age members; its main goals include giving youngsters "positive" activities as well as service projects to enhance self-esteem and contribute to the community, Roose said.
