Ellis anniversary is celebrated with their family

XSTRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Ellis of Struthers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 18 with family members at Oscar's in Boardman.
The couple's daughters and husbands are Nancy and Eric McClenaghan of Akron and Sally and Gene Ripley of Russiaville, Ind. They also have two grandsons.
The former Jo Ann Letoha and Mr. Ellis were united in marriage Dec. 17, 1955, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown.
Mrs. Ellis, a retired teacher, is a member of Struthers Presbyterian Church and its Fireside Class. She is active in retired teachers groups and the Kent State Mothers Club and enjoys square-dancing.
Mr. Ellis served two years with the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War and retired in 1983 from Youngstown Sheet and Tube.
