Rakocys observe 60th anniversary at dinner party

XBOARDMAN -- The 60th anniversary of their marriage was celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rakocy of Boardman as they were honored by their family during a dinner party held Feb. 18 at the Caf & eacute; Capri Restaurant.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Cheryle and Randy Morgan of Ashburn, Va., Michael and Sandy Rakocy of North Canton, and Bernadette and John Durkos of Stow. Also in attendance were four of their six grandchildren.
The couple were united in marriage Feb. 16, 1946, at St. Anthony Church. They are charter members of St. Christine Church, Youngstown.
