ARTIST AT WORK: Al Bright, professor of art at Youngstown State University, puts the finishing touches on an oil painting while listening to music from a three-piece jazz band at the McDonough Museum of Art on Wick Avenue. Bright was participating in the 10th annual Mad About the Arts fund-raising event Friday night at the museum. His creation was to be sold through a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will support WYSU, the university's public radio station.
