KINDERGARTEN Registrations

In most cases, children must be 5 years old by Sept. 30 and have proof of proper immunizations, a birth certificate, Social Security card and proof of residency at the time of registration. Proof of legal custody also may be required.
Canfield Schools: Registration will take place for kindergarten and new first- through fourth-graders at both Hilltop and C.H. Campbell elementary schools from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. April 6. Hilltop is at 400 Hilltop Blvd., and Campbell is at 300 Moreland Drive.
Wilmington Area: Parents of kindergarten-bound children should call the elementary school office at (724) 656-8866, Ext. 3000. A kindergarten screening clinic will be at New Wilmington Elementary School April 5 and 6, and a packet containing registration forms and screening appointment time will be mailed in the third week of March to parents who have contacted the elementary school office.
Saint Charles School, Boardman: Open registration for kindergarten through eighth grade for the 2006-07 school year starts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the school lobby, 7325 Westview Drive. In addition to the above requirements, parents must bring a Baptismal certificate, a copy of each child's last report card from a previous school (grades 1-6 only) and a $30 nonrefundable registration fee for each child.
