AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY Spinning, yoga to be featured at indoor workout fund-raiser



Individuals and corporations are encouraged to get involved in the event.
BOARDMAN -- The American Cancer Society has scheduled a Spin/Yoga for a Cure fund-raiser to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 25 at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St.
The society has teamed up with area clubs for the event that will feature a three-hour ride by Josh Taylor, master spinning presenter.
Prior to Taylor's ride, local yoga instructors will teach five 45-minute yoga classes, starting at 10 a.m. and suitable for all skill levels.
Refreshments have been donated by local vendors and will be available for participants throughout the day. There will also be a Chinese raffle and a silent auction.
Anyone interested in participating will be required to raise a minimum of $100 to ride for one hour the first two sessions, $125 per session with Taylor the last three sessions, or $500 to ride the entire five sessions. Incentive prizes will be presented to individuals raising the most money.
Corporate sponsorships are available and start at $250.
