Springfield's Jaric 11th in state diving

CANTON -- Springfield High sophomore Kacie Jaric placed 11th in the girls Division II diving competition at the state swimming and diving meet Thursday.
Competing at C.T. Branin Natatorium, Jaric scored 329.40 points. Junior Brittany Teneyck of Millbury Lake won the event with 428.75 points.
Also competing was junior Mary Vallinger of Poland, who placed 15th with 304.30 points.
Also winning state championships were Jennifer Funch, a senior from Cincinnati Ursuline, in girls Div. I, and Landon Marzullo, a junior from Worthington Kilbourne, in boys.
The state meet continues today and concludes Saturday.
