Winter Olympics (8 p.m., NBC)

Winter Olympics (8 p.m., NBC): The women figure skaters take to the ice in what is traditionally the marquee event of the Winter Olympics. On tap tonight is the short program and even though Michelle Kwan has pulled out due to injury, the United States still has a strong contender in Sasha Cohen. She's expected to battle Russia's Irina Slutskaya for the gold medal.
"Frontline: The Insurgency" (9 p.m., PBS): The news-documentary series "Frontline" turns its focus to the insurgent forces wreaking havoc in Iraq. Through interviews and never-before-seen footage featuring insurgent leaders and their foot soldiers, the program builds a complex profile of the U.S. enemy while examining their tactics and providing insight into their mindset.
"Boston Legal" (10 p.m., ABC): Guest-star alert: Tom Selleck gets to dabble in some comedy when he drops in on the goofballs of "Boston Legal." He plays Shirley's former husband who has a strange request for his ex-wife: He wants her to be his "best man" in his upcoming wedding with an annoyingly perky woman.
