3 arrested in pickup stolen in carjacking on Warren street

WARREN -- Police arrested two men and a woman in a Chevrolet pickup truck after stopping the vehicle, which had been reported stolen in a carjacking Monday morning.
The victim, a 22-year-old Windham man, told police a man wielding a screwdriver took his employer's tan 1999 pickup truck, a Suburban, while the Windham man had stopped at a pay telephone in the 1000 block of East Market Street at 8:45 a.m.
The robber initially asked the victim for change and grabbed a screwdriver from inside the Suburban, forcing the victim out of it and driving off, the victim reported.
Police later stopped the Suburban in a driveway in the 900 block of Garden Street Northwest.
There, they arrested the 21-year-old Cortland woman driving it on a warrant accusing her of forgery and a charge of driving under license suspension, a 44-year-old male passenger from Warren on an aggravated robbery charge pertaining to the carjacking, and a 27-year-old male passenger on a warrant accusing him of a probation violation.
All three occupants of the vehicle were booked into Trumbull County Jail.
