Surprise weekend celebration marks Struhariks' 50th

XFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert Struharik, 2779 E. Marina Drive, were surprised as they were joined Jan. 13-16 by family members for a weekend celebration planned in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
A highlight of the event was a dinner attended by the 22 family members Jan. 14 at Mama Mia Restaurant in Hollywood, Fla.
The Struhariks' family includes Robert and Patti Struharik and Paul and Missy Struharik, all of Boardman; Dennis and Lori Puskarcik of Hollywood, Fla.; and Joe and Lenny Romito of Campbell. They have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Struharik and the former Florence Desimone were married Jan. 14, 1956, in San Francisco. They are members of Christ Community Church, Campbell.
Mrs. Struharik retired from the Law Director's Office in Campbell, where she was a secretary. She is a member of Estates of Fort Lauderdale Women's Club and the Estates of Fort Lauderdale Shuffleboard League.
Also retired, Mr. Struharik was a head custodian with Campbell Board of Education. He served four years with the U.S. Army at Angel Island, Calif., and is a member of Coral Key Village Fishing Hall of Fame.
