XCANFIELD -- St. Michael Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 21 for the wedding of Katherine Doland, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Doland, 8384 Knauf Road, and Kyle Deas, a son of Douglas and Sue Deas, 8828 Bedell Road, Berlin Center.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Terrence Hazel, and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Embassy in Youngstown.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the newlyweds live in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
Crystal beading and side draping enhanced the bride's strapless satin gown.
Red gowns were worn by Candice Alexander of Austintown, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Ashley Horst of Wooster; Ashley Deas of Berlin Center, the groom's sister; Kristin Hoover of Aurora; Shannon O'Donnell of Youngstown; and Ronda Colapietro of Berlin Center.
Serving as best man was John Sjoberg of Raleigh, N.C., and groomsmen were Chris Doland of St. Augustine, Fla., a brother of the bride; William Koebler of Berlin Center; Chris Moore of Canfield; and Greg Flicek and Robert Fritz, both of Raleigh.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with a degree in special education.
The groom is an assistant golf professional at Rehoboth Beach Country Club. He graduated from Methodist College in Fayettville, N.C., with a degree in business and concentration in golf management.
