XCAMPBELL -- The Rev. Catherine Lockhart presided at 7 p.m. Dec. 31 as Marnie E. Turner and Daryl Humphrey, both of 437 Parkcliffe Ave., Youngstown, were united in marriage at Community Church of God.
Parents of the bride are John Sr. and Donna Turner, 834 Landsdowne Ave., Youngstown, and the groom is a son of Marilyn P. Humphrey, 110 E. Wood St., Youngstown, and the late Clarence E. Humphrey.
A reception was held for the couple at Covenant Lodge in Youngstown. They live at the Parkcliffe Avenue address.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown of ivory satin. It was adorned with beaded lace appliques and was worn with a champagne-colored overcoat.
Emerald-green gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jada Strickland, and the bride's daughters, Donna Marie Patmon, the bridesmaid, and Chelbe Knox, the junior bridesmaid, all of Youngstown.
Lyris Weaver performed the duties of best man, and ring bearer was the bride's son, Laquame Knox. Serving as ushers were Emma Austin and Deborah Parker. All are of Youngstown.
The bride is the supervisor of retail with Sodexho Dining Services at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and social work.
The groom served a four-year tour of duty with the U.S. Army in Germany and is a laborer and fork-truck operator with Trinity Steel Co. in Girard.
