Anniversary to be observed by the Van Lynns

XGIRARD -- Mr. and Mrs. William W. Van Lynn, 925 Tibbetts Wick Road, are marking their 60th wedding anniversary and plan to observe the event during a trip to be taken during the coming summer.
The former Grace A. Pauley and Mr. Van Lynn were united in marriage Feb. 23, 1946, at the parsonage of the First Methodist Church in Girard. They are members of Pleasant Valley Church.
Mr. Van Lynn served 3 1/2 years with the U.S. Marines in the South Pacific. He retired July 1, 1980, from U.S. Steel, McDonald Works, where he was an electrical foreman.
Mrs. Van Lynn worked at Kresge Five and Ten, the Fifth Avenue Pizza in Girard, Packard Electric and Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co.
The couple have two children, Shirley A. Trebelcock and Carol J. Marsh, both of Girard. Completing the family circle are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
