Parents announce Whitacre-Horbus wedding plans

XMickey and Diane Whitacre, 1161 Woodlawn Ave., Girard, and Steve and Marlene Horbus, 13320 Darrow Road, Vermilion, are announcing the engagement of their children, Marcie Lynn Whitacre, 13 Arms Blvd., Niles, and Craig Steven Horbus, 8591 Scenicview Drive, Broadview Heights.
Miss Whitacre graduated from Lake Erie College in Painesville with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is a kindergarten teacher with Girard City Schools.
Mr. Horbus, an attorney with Witschey Witschey and Firestine Co., LPA, in Fairlawn, graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea with a bachelor's degree in political science and earned his juris doctorate at Cleveland Marshall School of Law in Cleveland.
The couple will extend invitations for the wedding they have planned for 5:30 p.m. July 29 and also for their evening reception, both at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton.
