Parents announce Playforth-McCully wedding plans

XThe engagement of Julie Playforth, 86 Carter Circle, Boardman, and Garee McCully, 216 Superior St., Louisville, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Bill Playforth, also of 86 Carter Circle, and Cyndee Playforth, 32 Romaine Ave., Boardman. Parents of the future groom are Jon and Holly McCully, 9798 Louisville St., Louisville.
Miss Playforth graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education. She is a tennis and basketball coach with Canfield School District and is employed in child care with Giant Eagle in Canfield.
Mr. McCully, a seventh-grade science teacher with Louisville School District, graduated from Walsh University in North Canton with a degree in elementary education.
An open wedding has been planned by the couple for 3 p.m. Aug. 4 at St. Charles Church in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony's, also in Boardman.
