Kumik 65th anniversary is observed

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kumik, 2613 Rexford Road, were honored by friends and relatives as they observed their 65th wedding anniversary during a dinner party Jan. 25 at the Blue Wolf Grill and during a Mass Jan. 29 at St. Christine Church, where they are members.
After the ceremony, a family gathering was held at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Sallie Kumik of Youngstown.
Other family members participating in the celebration were Joanna Kumik of Oakland, Calif., Margaret and Robert Karis of Poland and four grandchildren.
Mr. Kumik and the former Dorothy Marszewski were married Jan. 25, 1941, at St. Casimir Church.
Mr. Kumik retired in 1979 from Bopp Electric Equipment, where he was a salesman.
Mrs. Kumik was a night manager at South Park Restaurant prior to retiring in 1972.
