2 fires break out at homes in Mercer County



MERCER, Pa. -- A fire in Wolf Creek Township, Pa., severely damaged a home, and another in Pine Township did less serious damage.
The fire at 7:15 a.m. Saturday at 100 Bengs Road in Wolf Creek began in the garage, said Mercer County 911 and Pine Township Engine Co.
The fire at 12:49 p.m. Saturday at 715 Forest Drive Ext. began in the chimney, they reported. It spread to the ceiling.
There were no injuries in either fire.
Damage estimates for the blazes were not available.
