Beeghly Center to be site of Scout event

YOUNGSTOWN -- Boy Scout Troop 55 of Youngstown is hosting the 11th annual Scout Youngstown State University Holiday Lock-In on Saturday and Sunday at Beeghly Center.
Scout troops throughout the area are invited to attend the event and even earn some advancement along the way.
Saturday will begin with the YSU women's basketball game against Butler University at 2:05 p.m. followed by the men's game against Loyola University at 4:25.
The Scouts will be able to enjoy the rest of the evening and early morning with swimming, racquetball, basketball, volleyball and movies. Checkout is at 7 a.m. Sunday.
Troop 55 also is helping out the needy. Part of the cost of admission will be a can of food brought by each Scout and adult participating. The lock-in is being sponsored by YSU and the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Northern Ohio in Youngstown.
