Increased patrols through Sunday

YOUNGSTOWN — City police will continue their holiday traffic blitz through Sunday.

Since last Wednesday, officers working extra patrols, mainly on Interstate 680, have been looking for speeders, seat belt violators and those driving impaired, said Detective Sgt. Rick Alli, department spokesman.
