Thanks for the memories
Fanfare:
I am writing to express my thanks and gratitude to the YSU football team. I would like to thank the players and their coaches for the joy and thrills they brought to all of us this year.
This year's team stirred up memories of old and brought the city of Youngstown, the university and the entire Mahoning Valley back to life.
I know the team is disappointed that it fell a little short. You guys have nothing to be ashamed of. You put forth a valiant effort, and we were with you in spirit all the way.
There has been a ton of new relationships created and a lots of renewals of old ones thanks to you guys. We'll have some great memories to talk over in the years to come, again because of you guys. And we'll always love you for that.
Congratulations on winning the Gateway Conference again, another new accomplishment for YSU because of YOU GUYS. And to the seniors, we wish you all the very best that life has to offer wherever and whatever you may choose to do. Thank you guys for years of enjoyment and fun. To the underclassmen, WE'LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.
