SEE ST. NICK: Susan W. Schonberger, executive director of Akiva Academy, Youngstown, shared this unusual occurrence. She was making molded chocolate Hanukkah suckers for students and found an interesting shape, which occurred by chance, on the back of one. She made about 100 but one was unique. One side has the Star of David and Happy Hanukkah while the other side seems to have a shape of Santa Claus, alias St. Nicholas. Schonberger said she made the chocolate treats Dec. 6, which is St. Nicholas Day. St. Nicholas is the patron saint of children and sailors. Schonberger share her find with The Vindicator in the spirit of the season.
