'Bah Humbug' say bowlers on ban

'Twas the day before Christmas and all through his house, only the proprietor was in it, mad as a mouse.
Where's my business? the angry proprietor asked, thinking about the election and the laws that just passed.
How dare them! he barked, about the voters, for their myopic expression -- one they were hoping would teach smokers a lesson.
For the defeat of state Issue 4 only made matters worse, sort of like my juvenile verse.
Now that you've delivered the death knell for smokers, why not go after bin Laden and those other jokers?
Ohio bowlers who like to puff are up in arms, they've had enough.
The parking lot, the woods or even the trees, that's where they must go to blow in the breeze.
Indoors it is written, is no longer the place to grab a quick one -- it's a slap in our face.
For sure, this is not to condone the filthy habit, one that will kill if he or she must really have it.
A toke or two is their humble desire, just a few moments to light their fire.
Bowling and booze are their weekly pleasures, so why not add tobacco to their list of endeavors?
So don't deny those poor souls some space -- a room away from the crowd -- where they'll inhale smoke into that hole in their face.
What's the solution? the industry awaits, as committees and hearings determine their fate.
If nothing is changed about Issue 4, expect a drastic drop in the number of scores.
If the ban is tweaked, smoking bowlers will love it; if not, then the non-smokers can shove it.
As the customers took their equipment and walked to their cars, the proprietor's profanity could be heard from afar: "Dang you voters, dang you all, find your own place to throw a bowling ball."
