Youngstown house shot up, firebombed.


YOUNGSTOWN — A house at 557 E. Boston Ave.   was shot up Thursday afternoon, and then firebombed and shot up again at 12:30 a.m. today, said Capt. Alvin Ware, head of the arson bureau.

When firefighters arrived they rescued the occupants from the porch roof. No injuries were reported.

Fire was showing through the front window. At least 20 bullet holes were found in the house. Police were called to the scene to secure it and protect firefighters. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
