Margaret Parsons (Slippery Rock '71) is 264-216 in her 18th season at Clarion and is 374-289 in 25 years overall.Notes: The Penguins lost their sixth straight game on Monday at home to Robert Morris 84-54 in which they shot just 31.6 percent from the field. Godfrey and Nikita LaFleur each had 14 points in the loss. YSU is averaging over 20 turnovers a contest and outside of point guard Lauren Branson, everybody on the team is averaging more turnovers than assists. This is the third game of a five-game home stand for YSU and the Penguins have dropped the first two. Clarion comes into the game on a two-game winning streak with wins over Pitt Johnstown 64-47 and Cheyney 65-40. YSU leads the series 4-1, but the two teams have not met since the 1981-82 season when the Penguins defeated the Eagles 104-49. Clarion's only win in the series was in 1977-78 when they beat YSU 64-48 in Youngstown.Up next: The Penguins will continue their home stand Dec. 28 when they play host to Horizon League opponent Wright State in a 7:05 tipoff at Beeghly Center.
