Youngstown Patrolman Donald Glass has a deep wound on his little finger, which he got when he wedged his finger between the hammer and chamber of his service revolver, which kept him from being shot during a struggle with a man being arrested for drunken driving. The man pulled the trigger of Glass' revolver three times, each time the hammer struck Glass' finger rather than the cartridge in the chamber.
