Ledgerwoods mark 50th anniversary on Thanksgiving

XWARREN -- Mr. and Mrs. Lee Ledgerwood of 884 North Road N.W., celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Stacy Ledgerwood of Tampa, Fla.
The couple also marked the event with a vacation to Key West, Fla.
The Ledgerwoods also have a daughter, Lee Ann Ledgerwood of New York City.
Mr. Ledgerwood and the former Shirley Minish were married Nov. 16, 1956, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He is a veteran of World War II and was employed for 30 years with the Champion Local School District, serving as driving instructor for the high school and as principal of Kiser Elementary School prior to retiring.
His wife was employed for 39 years in the laboratory at Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a certified medical technologist and was supervisor of the chemistry laboratory prior to her retirement.
