Dinner and dance held to celebrate Adams jubilee

BERLIN CENTER -- Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Adams, 16021 Mock Road, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 24. To mark the occasion, the couple were honored at a dinner and dance held in October at Roby Lee's in Newton Falls. Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's children and their spouses, Steve Adams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Chris and Stephanie Adams of Homeworth, Melissa and Rodney Badgett of Canfield, and Marci and Brian Craig of Goshen. There are eight grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Adams and the former Marilyn Mehalic were married Nov. 24, 1956, at St. Mary Church in New Castle, Pa. They are members of St. James Church in North Jackson, the Keenagers, and 1714 Federal Credit Union Retirees.
Mr. Adams served with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a millwright with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown prior to retiring in 1998.
