DESIRAE DURKIN | KEITH MONACO



HOWLAND -- The Butler Institute of American Art, Trumbull Branch, provided the setting at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28 for the wedding of Desirae Durkin and Keith Monaco.
The Rev. David Gilbert solemnized the marriage for the daughter of Debbie Mancini of Niles and Chuck Baker of Howland, and the son of Joe and Sue Monaco, 5709 Logan Arms, Liberty.
A reception followed at Leo's Ristorante in Howland, and afterward the couple left for a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla. They live at 7339-D West Blvd., Boardman.
An ivory strapless gown was worn by the bride. It featured a corset-style back and ruched band on the bodice. The full skirt was designed with pickups accented with pearl motifs.
The bride's sister, Danielle Durkin of Niles, was maid of honor. She wore a chocolate-brown gown, as did the bridesmaids, Tracy Gumina of Niles; Kristin Wilmouth of Daytona, Fla.; Yvonne Porterfield of Niles; Sarah Casale of West Bloomfield, Mich.; Sarah Thomas of Newton Falls; Leslie Page of Tampa, Fla., the groom's sister; and Amanda Wrataric of Kent.
Sharing the duties of best man were Chris Stone of Pittsburgh; Mike Young of Howell, N.J.; Jeff Downs of Rochester, N.Y.; and Matt Olwine of Dayton. The bride's brother, Chris Baker of Howland, served as usher.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in American studies, Mrs. Monaco is a relationship banker at Key Bank in Austintown.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in sports management from Bowling Green State University and is a branch manager with Wells Fargo Financial in Canfield.
