Nov. 30
Stolen property: After stopping a vehicle near Market Street and Indianola Road for having stolen license plates, police arrested a Youngstown man, 37. He was charged with a felony count of receiving stolen property.
Domestic violence: A Meadowbrook Avenue woman alleged her boyfriend pushed her in the chest, grabbed her arms and later tossed a set of keys at her during an argument. Charged with domestic violence was a 22-year-old Boardman man.
Felonious assault: A Southern Boulevard woman alleged her boyfriend assaulted and threatened her with a knife.
Breaking and entering: Someone damaged a door jamb before entering a carport's storage area in the 600 block of Cook Avenue. A snow blower was taken.
Arrest: While responding to a dispute at a Tamarisk Trail residence, officers took into custody a 65-year-old resident after saying he refused to calm down. The man was charged with disorderly conduct/failure to desist.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 100 block of Washington Boulevard discovered all four of her vehicle's tires had been slashed.
Counterfeit: A phony 10 bill was passed at Dunkin' Donuts, 6041 Market St.
Auto theft: A 1994 Jeep Cherokee was taken from an apartment in the 7000 block of West Boulevard.
Fraud: A fraudulent prescription for an anti-anxiety medication was passed at Brown's Drug Store & amp; Giftshop, 5106 Southern Blvd.
Theft: A man in the 5000 block of Irma Avenue reported 500 missing from his home.
Theft/drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 51-year-old Youngstown man with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia when they responded to Walgreen Pharmacy, 7295 Market St., regarding a shoplifter. The man had a suspected crack pipe, officers said.
Burglary: A man reported a 900 laptop computer missing from his home in the 4000 block of Cascade Drive. Police said they found no signs of forced entry.
Theft: An employee at Joe Bertin Inc., 7495 California Ave., told authorities that a co-worker failed to turn in a 180 payment for work done.
Theft: A man stole about 50 worth of items from a Shell gas station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault/criminal damaging: A Shadyside Drive girl reported being punched in the head as she stepped off a school bus. The girl also alleged that her attacker's mother tore a screen from a storm door at the victim's residence.
Burglary: A man in the 4200 block of Milltrace Road discovered a break-in and that a cellular phone was stolen from his granddaughter's bedroom.
Arrest: Police caught up to and arrested a Youngstown man, 25, in Applewood Acres after saying he acted suspiciously and tried to avoid officers. The man was wanted on three warrants and faced a charge of driving under the influence.

Theft: A woman leaving Staples, 1206 Doral Drive, found out someone had broken into her car and stolen a backpack, textbooks, personal papers, notebooks and a sweat shirt.
Drugs: A 19-year-old Struthers man was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse instruments. A Lockwood Boulevard resident reported a suspicious vehicle and a man was found asleep with the keys in the ignition, police said.
Recovered property: A bullet was found in a parking lot at Farmers National Bank, 102 W. Western Reserve Road.
Theft: A man in his late 20s left a Shell station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road, without paying for 39 worth of gasoline.
Auto theft: A man reported the theft of his 1994 Volvo 940 from the 7300 block of Market Street.
Theft: A 22-year-old Girard woman faced a theft charge after being accused of trying to leave Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, without paying for 164 worth of groceries.
Theft: A cash drawer at Residence Inn, 7396 Tiffany Blvd., came up 50 short.
Drugs: The Boardman Police Department's Narcotics Enforcement Unit arrested a 45-year-old Youngstown man at the Mahoning County Jail and charged him with two felony counts of trafficking in cocaine and one felony count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
Theft: Officers arrested two Campbell women, 28 and 38, on theft charges. Both were accused of stealing merchandise from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.
Dec. 2
Arrest: While trying to serve a 40-year-old man with warrants charging him with theft and probation violation, police added charges of obstructing official business and resisting arrest. Authorities said the man refused to answer the door and barricaded himself in his Washington Boulevard apartment to avoid arrest.
Theft: A man in the 7300 block of West Boulevard told police someone stole license plates off his vehicle and replaced them with stolen ones.
Burglary: A woman in the 7400 block of Sierra Madre Trail discovered a burglary as well as 90 and a checkbook missing.
Theft: A Bristlewood Drive woman reported a digital camera stolen from her residence.
Theft: A 17-year-old Youngstown girl was charged in the theft of jewelry from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Three pairs of boots were taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of Boardman-Poland Road.
Aggravated menacing: A Milltrace Road woman reported that her life was threatened.
Arrest: Boardman police picked up an East Palestine man, 21, who was wanted on a felony warrant from Youngstown charging him with forgery.

Auto theft: A man said his girlfriend's 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen at Rick's Ranchwear, 85 Karago Ave.
Theft: A man in the 8200 block of Hitchcock Road discovered patio furniture missing from a rear patio.
Theft: Money was missing from a cash register at Taco Bell, 458 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A customer pumped 13 worth of gasoline and left a Shell station, 7598 Market St., without paying.
Assault: While checking on the welfare of a 28-year-old Erskine Avenue man who had made suicidal statements, authorities said he left in a vehicle and assaulted four officers. He faced four counts of assault on a police officer and one count each of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Assault: A woman reported being assaulted while at Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill, 6651 South Ave.
Identity theft: A Homestead Drive woman found out several accounts had been opened with her personal information.
Criminal damaging: Police arrested a 33-year-old Youngstown man on a criminal-damaging charge after accusing him of smashing four windows on an Old Oxford Lane woman's vehicle.
Drugs/weapon: While investigating a report of an intoxicated person eating produce before paying for it at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, officers charged the 21-year-old Youngstown woman with possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse instruments as well as carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence. She dropped and tried to hide a suspected crack pipe and had other crack pipes, a syringe, a razor blade, a box cutter and a police-style lock blade knife, authorities said.
Theft/criminal damaging: A woman at the Southern Park Mall returned to her vehicle and noticed a rear window broken and a compact-disc player stolen.
Assault: An Applecrest Court man told police a woman assaulted him.
Robbery: A robbery was reported at the Hampton Inn, 7395 Tiffany Blvd.
Bad checks: A worker at Ruse's Massotherapy Centre, 7355 West Blvd., reported two checks written to pay for treatments were returned for nonsufficient funds.
Bad check: A bad check to pay for a vehicle was passed at Sweeney Chevrolet, 7870 Market St.

Nov. 30
Theft: A woman reported a dog stolen from her Water Street home.
Forgery: A South Main Street man told police that Home Savings and Loan, Youngstown, notified him that someone cashed two checks totaling more than 4,400 in his name.
Arrest: After pulling over a vehicle near state Route 170 and Poland Village Avenue for erratic driving, officers arrested a 36-year-old Boardman woman. She was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and resisting arrest after police said she tried to pull away from them.
