SANDY MESSERSCOTT WASACZ
YOUNGSTOWN -- Trinity United Methodist Church was the setting at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 as marriage vows were exchanged by Sandy J. Messer, daughter of Hezz and Marcette Messer, 374 N. Perry Highway, Mercer, Pa., and Scott W. Wasacz, son of Edward and DiAnn Wasacz, 13885 Beard Road, New Springfield.
The Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline officiated, and a reception took placed at Avion on the Water in Canfield. After a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple are living at 4234 Woodmere Drive, Austintown.
The bride's A-line strapless gown of white lace was embellished with crystals and pearls. The skirt fell to a cathedral train.
Her daughter, Kayla Kerr, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Lisa Wasacz, the groom's sister-in-law; Chrissy Speziale; Kim Webb; Nita Brdek; and Kara Rouzzo. They wore black gowns. Flower girls were Kinley Mason, the groom's cousin, and Abby Husband, the bride's niece.
Bryon Wasacz was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Trent Wasacz, the groom's brother; Carmen Speziale; Wayne Webb; Cameron Wasacz, his nephew; and Craig Pepey.
Mrs. Wasacz graduated from Pennsylvania State University/Sharon Regional School of Nursing as a registered nurse and is employed as a psychiatric nurse at the Youngstown Developmental Center in Mineral Ridge.
Her husband is a graduate of Choffin Career Center in Youngstown. He is a bricklayer with Lencyk Masonry Co. in Boardman and is a musician with No Xcuse.
