LISA SCHMALZRIEDKRISTOPHER BANKS
WARREN -- Living at 8510 Evergreen Trail, Olmsted Township, after a honeymoon to Paris are Kristopher Banks and his bride, the former Lisa Schmalzried, who were married at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at St. Mary Church.
Parents of the bride are James and Pamela Schmalzried, 720 Churchill Road, Girard. Mr. Banks is a son of Rick and Sharon Banks, 30 Wilmbledon Court, Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiated, and a reception was held at Aulizio's Banquet Hall.
Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Lori Mikulka of Girard. She wore a black gown, as did the bridesmaids, Mary Schmalzried of Girard, also her sister, and Lynn Pomponio of Canfield, her cousin. Flower girl was Kaitlyn Pomponio of Canfield, also her cousin.
Andy Banks of Oxford, Miss., performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Tyler Forsberg of Olmsted Township and Jim Schmalzried of Girard, the bride's brother. Her nephew, Joshua Mikulka, was ring bearer.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in special education and a master's in autism and related disabilities, Mrs. Schmalzried is a special-education teacher with the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City Schools in Sheffield.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Ariz. He is an airline pilot with Commutair in Cleveland.
