Worker injured in accident dies

YOUNGSTOWN -- Raymond Queen, one of two workers hurt in an industrial accident at Penn Ohio Logistics in Austintown, died early today at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Queen, 39, of Severn Court S.E., Warren, a Penn Ohio Logistics employee, died at 4:07 a.m., said Rick Jamrozik, an investigator with the Mahoning County coroner's office. Jamrozik said an autopsy would be done today.
Queen and Lawrence Boatwright, 46, another Penn Ohio Logistics employee, were injured when steel bars fell through a concrete floor at the company's steel warehouse on Hendricks Road around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Boatwright remained in critical condition at the hospital.
Penn Ohio Logistics is one of several businesses in an industrial complex, site of the former Youngstown Steel Door, that sits on land between Hendricks Road and Connecticut Avenue.
Eric Peterson, an OSHA compliance officer, toured Penn Ohio Logistics on Wednesday.
Austintown Assistant Fire Chief Andrew Frost III said structural engineers will determine how much load the floor could have withstood and how much weight was on it.
Frost said OSHA's findings will likely be released in four months. He said engineers will determine what parts of the building can be used again.
