YOUNGSTOWN -- Tiffany Lynn Schimpf, a daughter of George and Pamela Schimpf of Girard, and Michael Ross Burkett, a son of Geoffrey Burkett and Darla Burkett, both of Youngstown, were united in marriage July 29 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Nicholas Cammarata, and they were honored afterward at a reception at Mahoning Country Club, Girard.
The bride's gown featured a sweetheart neckline, an elongated bodice embellished with crystals and pearls and a cathedral train enhanced with schiffli lace and beading.
Light-blue gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Brittany Schimpf, the bride's sister, and Jenny Harper, and the bridesmaids, Laura and Anna Schimpf, cousins of the bride, and Katherine Burkett and Kristin Beatty, cousins of the groom. Soft-yellow dresses were worn by the junior bridesmaids, Carolina Griffin and Desiray and Rebecca Hampton, the groom's cousins. Flower girls were Mary Burkett, the groom's sister, and Amber Schimpf, the bride's goddaughter and cousin.
Best men were Gregory Burkett, the groom's brother, and Ernest Reiner, his uncle. Groomsmen were Thomas Burkett, also a brother of the groom, and Gary and Roy Schimpf, cousins of the bride. Junior groomsmen were Trenton Harper, the bride's godson; Gregory Burkett Jr., the groom's nephew; and Ryan Reiner, his cousin. Ring bearer was the bride's cousin, Joseph Schimpf.
