Sunday, August 27, 2006 KAREN WERBLAN JOSHUA HARTMAN GIRARD — A reception was held July 22 at the Victorian Ballroom in Niles to honor Joshua Hartman and his bride, the former Karen Werblan, who were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony that day at St. Rose Church. Officiating at the wedding were the Rev. Edward Stafford, an uncle of the bride, and Dr. Rev. Brian Gigee, the groom's uncle. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Werblan, 1426 Tomilu Drive, and the groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Hartman, 100 Howard St., Austintown, honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and live on Willowcrest Drive, Austintown. A strapless, lace-up gown enhanced with a pearl- and sequin-accented lace overlay was worn by the bride. Sage-green gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Colleen Werblan, and the bridesmaids, Meg Lawrence, Lauren Burin, Amber Breese, Jessica Rottenberg, Alexis Elias and the bride's cousin, Melissa Werblan. Vince Nittoli served as best man, and groomsmen were Eric Price; David Gigee, the groom's uncle; Ryan and Jeremy Hartman, his brothers; Merrill Whippo; and Dave Lesicko. Junior groomsman was Tyler Hartman, also the groom's brother. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in physical therapy. The groom is an operations manager with Gander Mountain in Niles.
