Toth family opens gardens to visitors for tours on Sept. 3



HUBBARD -- The 10th annual open garden tour at the home of Rodney and Kay Toth, 5637 W. Liberty St., will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 3.
Several major gardens will feature flowers such as dahlias, 15 varieties of tomatoes, 14 varieties of peppers, hostas, coleuses, many annuals and perennials, and even a 40-foot gourd arbor.
Also open to visitors will be the Flower Bow Garden featuring five varieties of celosia and the Wee Cutting Garden, created by the couple's grandsons, and musical entertainment will be provided by Monica Toth Baker.
There is ample parking available and there is no admission fee.
