TAMMY STEFAN | DEAN SHAFFER

Saturday, August 26, 2006 CLEVELAND — Tammy Stefan and Dean Shaffer were united in marriage by the Rev. Dan Knaup during a ceremony held at 3 p.m. July 29 on the lawn at their home in Ohio City, where an indoor reception was also held. Parents of the bride are Fred and Barbara Stefan, 36 Harrow Place, Boardman, and the groom is a son of Dean and Jean Shaffer of Stow. Mrs. Shaffer graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in medical technology. She is a bio-medical research assistant at Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Shaffer is an art teacher at Black River High School in Sullivan and an independent artist. He graduated from Cooper School of Art in Cleveland, the Art Institute in Kansas, Mo., and the University of Akron with degrees in art, mathematics and education.
