SounDoctrine sales will benefit shelter

CANFIELD -- SounDoctrine, a funk-jazz band from Youngstown, will appear once again at this year's Canfield Fair, and will partner for the third straight year with Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley in their effort to provide food, shelter and a second chance to the homeless.
The band will donate 25 percent of the proceeds from the sale of their latest CD, "Endurance," to the Rescue Mission. The CD may be purchased during SounDoctrine's appearance at the Fair, which will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Shooting Star entertainment stage, near the grandstand.
