Rebels score seven times in win



Ursuline won for the first time in three tries.
NEW WATERFORD -- Aaron Stewart scored three goals while Greg Bing and Mitchell See added two apiece, leading Crestview High to a 7-0 victory over Mathews in a boys soccer game Saturday.
Brian Bechtel, who led the Rebels' defense with 17 stops, had two assists. See also had two assists while Austin Elwonger, Bing and Stewart each had one.
Ursuline 7, Champion 1
YOUNGSTOWN -- Vlad Lungu and Corey Mihaly each scored two goals for the Irish who won for the first time in three tries. Nick Celio, Nick Clowes and Justin Mihaly scored a goal apiece.
Justin Mihaly and Lungu each had two assists and Corey Mihaly had one.
Trent Williams scored the goal and Dave Palm had an assist for the Golden Flashes (0-1).
Ursuline had 11 shots on goal, compared to five for Champion.
Champion keepers Tyler Kish and Brent Barbe combined for five saves. JVs: Ursuline 4, Champion 4.
Badger 7, Harding 2
WARREN -- Junior forward Lee Matson scored three times as the Braves (3-0) spurted from a 2-2 deadlock at the break.
Jeff Ashcroft had two goals while Mike Rondini and Zack Panak had one apiece.
For Harding (1-2), Mike Safos and Josh Phillips each scored.

Girls
HUBBARD -- Ashley Bruce scored four goals to pace the Hubbard girls team (1-0, 1-0) to a 12-0 romp over Liberty.
Jordana Lima added three goals while Abbie DeLuco, Anna Giancola, Brittani Duvall, Megan Webb and Tressa Scahill had one apiece for the Eagles.
Lima had three assists, Brittany Julian two and Scahill, Duvall and Bruce one.
The Eagles' defense didn't allow Liberty (0-2) a shot on goal.
Lakeview 3, Salem 0
SALEM -- Paige Poulis, Bri Yocum and Allie Nero scored goals for the Bulldogs (2-0-1).
Yocum and Poulis earned an assist each.
Goalkeeper Hallie Ruggeri made eight saves.
Salem is 1-1.
Mooney 3, Indian Hills 0
INDIAN HILLS -- Vickie Dreiling, Katie Griswold and Ashley Cuba scored goals for Mooney (2-0).
Alex Sierra made two assists and Emma Engler one. Cardinals goalkeeper Veronica Skowron made two saves.
For Indian Hill (0-2), goalkeeper Ashley Daniels made eight saves.
Indian Hills was a Division II state finalist two of the past three seasons.
Green 4, Fitch 0
AUSTINTOWN -- Kelsie Ahbe scored twice for Green.
Ashley Nelson and Jennifer Sprandel also had a goal apiece for Green (2-1). Fitch is 0-2.

WILLOUGHBY -- Goalkeepers Kaitlyn Vestal made four saves and Amanda Vestal made three saves. Kathy Wengerd made two saves for the Eagles (0-2).
