Holborn Herb Guild members plan tea party at fairgrounds

CANFIELD -- Holborn Herb Guild will hold its third annual Garden Tea Party from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Western Reserve Historic Village at the Canfield Fairgrounds, 7265 Columbiana Canfield Road.
Those attending will have an opportunity to sample a variety of herb teas, punch and delicacies.
During the day guests may stroll the grounds and herb gardens, which are maintained by the guild, and visit the historic buildings in the village.
As a remembrance of the event, each patron will receive a china tea cup to take home.
Proceeds from the event will be used to maintain the grounds and gardens at the village and to promote the use of herbs.
Tickets for the party are $8 and must be purchased in advance. Checks should be made payable to the Holborn Herb Guild and sent to Virginia Bartos, 107 Forest Creek Drive, Struthers, OH 44471.
