BACK TO SCHOOL School starting dates

AUSTINTOWN
First day: Sept. 6.
EAST PALESTINE
New administrators: Tom Inchak, elementary principal.
Curriculum changes: Bought 126 new computers for pupil and staff use; new computer lab in each building; three new Smartboards bought.
Renovations: high school auditorium renovated; elementary building security updated with remote door openers and anew entry.
First day: Monday.
JOSEPH BADGER
New administrators: Edwin J. Baldwin, Badger High School principal.
First day: Sept. 5.
WESTERN RESERVE
New administrators: Pete Morabito, Ellsworth Elementary principal.
Curriculum changes: yutoring provided for high school students needing intervention for classes and/or testing; middle school writer's workshop that will involve pupils, teachers and community, will be scheduled. Middle school technology program added as an exploratory class.
Renovations: technology lab added at middle school; ventilation improvements in the high school gym and building; high school gym floor refinished.
First day: Sept. 6.
