Wendt-Cernich wedding to be in Osage, Iowa

Friday, August 25, 2006 Invitations are being issued for the wedding of Ellen Beth Wendt of Mission, Kan., and David Charles Cernich of Pittsburgh, whose engagement is announced by the prospective groom's mother, Mrs. Alice Cernich, 873 Lawrence Ave., Girard. The bride-elect is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldean Wendt, 2116 340th St., Osage, Iowa. Mr. Cernich is also a son of the late Joseph Cernich. The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 4 p.m. ceremony Sept. 30 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage. Their reception will also be held by invitation at Austin Country Club in Austin, Minn. Miss Wendt earned a bachelor's degree in dietetics at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and a master's in dietetics at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. She is in sales with Assessment Technologies, LLC, in Overland Park, Kan. Mr. Cernich, a senior vice president of sales with the TEGG Corp. in Pittsburgh, graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
