Creole Stomp to close summer night season

WARREN -- The 2006 Summer Night Specials season offered by the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County will come to a close Saturday with French Creole fiddler Dennis Stroughmatt and his band, Creole Stomp. They will bring traditional Louisiana Creole, Cajun and Zydeco music to the stage at 7 p.m. in Courthouse Park in downtown Warren.
The concert is free and open to the community.
The sound of Creole Stomp is a mix of Louisiana Cajun two-steps, reels and waltzes with Creole blues and Zydeco influence.
Songs are accompanied vocally in authentic Louisiana French and the audience is welcome to dance.
