Morells celebrate 50th anniversary with family event

STRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Donald Morell Sr., 37 Wilson St., were honored July 29 at a dinner at Johnny's in Boardman to mark their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration were the couple's children, Cathi Petersen of Painesville; Pete Morell of Chicago; Donny Morell of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; and Joan Morell and Toni Morell, both of Ann Arbor, Mich. The couple also have nine grandchildren.
Mr. Morell and the former Mary Fabry were married July 28, 1956, at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Youngstown.
Mr. Morell retired eight years ago from Cold Metal Products, where he worked in inventory control, and is a member of New Middletown Sportsman Club and Steelworkers Local 3047.
Mrs. Morell worked as a cafeteria supervisor at Struthers Middle School until her retirement 10 years ago. She is a member of American Business Women's Association.
Mr. and Mrs. Morell are members of St. Nicholas Church.
