HEATHER JOHNSONGARY RULE
CHESTER, Va.-- Living at 411 Cornwallis Court in Ashland, Va., are Gary Michael Rule and his bride, the former Heather Elizabeth Johnson, who were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 22 at the Church of the Epiphany.
The groom's brother, the Rev. Steven Rule, officiated for the daughter of Gordon and Holly Johnson, 7569 Jaguar Drive, Boardman, and the son of Robert and Mae Rule, 4024 Treely Road.
After a reception at Maymont Park in Richmond, Va., the couple left on a wedding trip to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
Embellished with pearls, the bride's white silk A-line gown featured spaghetti straps, an empire waistline and a chapel train.
Primrose gowns were worn by the bride's niece and honor attendant, Christina Johnson of Boardman, and the groom's sister and bridesmaid, Deborah Morlock of Berlin, Md. His niece, Jenna Morlock, also of Berlin, was flower girl.
Best man was James Paul of Berlin, Germany, and groomsmen were Juan Rivera of Manassas, Va., and Roy Reynolds of Richmond. Ushers were the bride's brothers, Eric and Brett Johnson of Boardman.
The bride, a teacher with Caroline County Schools in Bowling Green, Va., graduated from Ohio University and received a teaching certification from Youngstown State University.
The groom, an employment counselor with Choice Group in Richmond, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
