Pastor's anniversary
LIBERTY -- Living Water Missionary Baptist Church, 97 E. Montrose St., will celebrate the third anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Lee T. Rucker Jr., during an outdoor service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. James McKeithan and the congregation of Second Baptist Church of Sharpsville, Pa., will be guests.
Guest speaker
CORTLAND -- Richard Mook of Mentor will be guest speaker at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Cortland Trinity Baptist Church, 2567 McCleary Jacob Road. His topic will be "From Grief to Glory," which also is the title of a book he wrote. He will discuss the loss of nine close family members.
Mass for guild
HUBBARD -- The Diocesan Jesus of Prague Guild will have its monthly Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, 357 N. Main St., preceded by the rosary at 9:30.
Community picnic

Crossing Paths event
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- Crossing Paths, a local television ministry, will have its annual picnic and talent hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shenango Township Park, 3439 Hubbard-West Middlesex Road. Meat and beverages will be provided; participants are asked to take casseroles, desserts and lawn chairs.

COLUMBIANA -- David Kahout of Talk is Cheap Ministries will be guest speaker at 6 p.m. Sunday at Zion Hill Church of the Brethren, 14550 New Buffalo Road. His message is "God Can."
Street meeting
FARRELL, Pa. -- New and Living Way Evangelistic Ministry Team, led by Bishop Alvin J. McCoy, will have its annual street meeting on Idaho Street at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be refreshments.
Walking meditation
VILLA MARIA, Pa. -- EverGreen will host an outdoor labyrinth walk of meditation from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Villa Maria Community Center. The labyrinth is a tool for enriching the spiritual journey. Sister Therese Pavilonis will offer a brief history and introduction. Registration is not required but is appreciated. Donation is $5. Sacred songs program
EDINBURG, Pa. -- All Faith Missionary World Outreach Inc. associated with All Faith Tabernacle of God, 1868 Harbor-Edinburg Road, will host a program of sacred songs, worship and healing at 11 a.m. Aug. 20.
Concert at church
POLAND -- Poland Village Baptist Church, 79 Hill Drive, will host its final program in the summer lawn concert series at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 with the Songsters Quartet, whose music is described as spiritual. The concert is free, but those attending should take blankets or lawn chairs. An offering will be taken.
Activity for youths
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. Inez Ellis of Other Sheep Outreach Ministry will have an activity for children from 7 years and older at 1 p.m. today at her home, 907 Brentwood Ave. Youth from local churches have been invited to participate in activities including Bible-based games. Food will be served.
Revival planned
CAMPBELL -- The Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., will host a revival at 7 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday. The Rev. Kenneth Paramore and the Christian Revival and Discipleship Center, Youngstown, and United Baptist Church, Akron, will participate.

CANFIELD -- Youngstown Spiritual Society/Now Creations will have a weekend retreat Aug. 26-27 at the Ursuline Center, 4300 Shields Road. Ordination planned
YOUNGSTOWN -- Minister Larry Brian McCulloh will be ordained during a service at 5 p.m. Sunday at World Fellowship Interdenominational Church, 494 W. Dewey Ave., where he has been a lifelong member. The Rev. Elizabeth Powell is pastor. McCulloh, who holds a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University, graduated from Evangelist Training Association through New Bethel Baptist Church. At World Fellowship, he serves as Sunday school superintendent and teaches adult Bible classes. McCulloh is a certified prevention specialist with Youngstown Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program.
Outdoor service
EAST PALESTINE -- First United Presbyterian Church, 109 W. Rebecca St., will host an outdoor worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with Dr. S. Thomas Niccolls of Sebring as speaker. His topic will be "Love God Fully." Participants are asked to take lawn chairs. A church picnic will follow and participants are asked to take covered dishes; the church will provide meat, beverages and place settings.
Flame Fellowship
BOARDMAN -- Flame Fellowship, an interdenominational ministry, and the Ministry of Righteousness Being Restored, will host an evening of praise and worship Aug. 21 featuring Sandy Monroe, worship leader, at Boardman Community Center in Boardman Township Park. Fellowship will start at 6:30 p.m. and the ministry at 7.
Retreat for teens
CORTLAND -- A teen retreat is planned next week at the Jericho Center, 2878 Warren-Meadville Road, featuring classes, movies, arts and crafts, Bible quiz game, fellowship Bible study, music and ministry. Sessions will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The retreat is free to those from 11 to 18 years old. The sponsor is The Church at Warren, 3179 Bazetta Road.
Church revival
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. Walter Moss and Fifth Avenue Church of God will hold a revival at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at the church, 1361 Fifth Ave. Dr. Max Flynn of Radiant Life Four Square Church, Greenville, N.C., will speak.
