YOUNGSTOWN -- John Maker and his bride, the former Lauren Caputo, are living at 1280 Abbington Place, Gahanna, after returning from a honeymoon in Aruba.
They were married July 22 at St. Dominic Church, and a reception in their honor followed at Fonderlac Country Club in New Springfield.
The Rev. Joseph Allen officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Michele Caputo, 747 Tudor Lane, Boardman, and Jim Caputo, 4185 Nottingham Ave., Austintown, and the son of John and Chris Maker, 196 Struthers-Coitsville Road, Lowellville.
The bride wore a white princess-style gown enhanced with lace and light beading and featuring a chapel train.
Mandarin-orange-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jessie Carfora, and the bridesmaids, Cheryl Maker, sister of the groom; Ashley Kullberg; Jaimie Nicolaou; Amy Huzicka; and Debbie Sedivy. Junior bridesmaids were Ashley Lopatta and the bride's cousin, Marsia Manna, and flower girl was Carmyn Manna, the bride's cousin and godchild.
Greg Huzicka was best man, and groomsmen were Chuck Gasior, Dennis Osman, Steve Pecchia and the bride's brothers, James and Nick Caputo and Tony Sangialosi. Ring bearer was the groom's godchild, Connor Huzicka.
Mrs. Maker is an assistant director at Great Expectations in Columbus, and Mr. Maker is in sales and service with Cintas in Columbus.
